Overall, the cost of living in Canadian cities has become increasingly expensive, with a 2021 Oxford Economics survey naming Vancouver and Toronto as the first and third-most expensive cities in North America. A 2021 Zolo report names Windsor and London as the two most overall affordable larger cities in Ontario, with Hamilton at #6.

Each of our cities has access to full-time and supplementary Jewish education. In addition, we have many high-quality public and private schools from which to choose, as well as colleges and universities. Canada is unique in that public education is funded by the province or territory, rather than through municipal taxes, thus Canadian public schools tend to be similar in quality across the map.
